This is Delsity’s service pricing, not an estimate of what all wedding editors charge. The durations refer to the finished video. A folder containing hours of camera originals is not priced simply by the number of source minutes.

The rule covers the stated durations through ten minutes. Films longer than ten minutes are discussed separately. A short teaser, a film under five minutes or a fractional runtime also needs an agreed quote; do not extrapolate a price from the table without confirming the scope.

Describe the source material

For a quote, state the approximate amount of footage, the number of cameras, how audio was recorded and whether files are organised. Include any known gaps, unreadable files or sound problems. These details help the editor understand the job before work starts.

Also say whether the original recordings include slow motion, mixed frame rates or log footage. You do not need to solve every technical problem yourself, but you should make known characteristics visible. A surprise about missing vows or an incomplete speech can change the decisions the edit requires.

Specify what the price is buying

“A wedding video” can mean several outputs. Name the highlight, documentary film, teaser or platform cuts you want and the intended duration of each. Provide a style reference and the moments that must remain in the story.

Confirm aspect ratios, export requirements, sound expectations and how revisions will be reviewed. The published duration table does not itself define every additional output. A written scope makes the difference between a single finished version and a larger package understandable.

What changes with a package

A documentary film, highlight and teaser can be planned together. The editor can understand how the same source material serves three different purposes, rather than receiving three separate briefs with contradictory priorities.

Our three-format package is cheaper than buying the three edits separately. The exact total depends on the requested films and agreed work. We do not publish a fixed percentage discount or a single package amount that would fit every wedding. Use the format comparison to define the deliverables before asking for the package quote.

Send a quote request that can be answered

We need [formats and durations]. We have approximately [footage amount] from [cameras] and [audio sources]. The style reference is [link]. These moments must remain: [list]. We need [aspect ratios and versions] by [requested date].

Add the location of the source folder and note whether permissions, downloads and file sizes have been checked. Keep a backup of the original recordings. The footage handoff guide covers the folder and brief details.

A deadline is a request until it has been agreed. Revision stages and the route for feedback should be stated before editing. This lets the studio compare the actual service scope instead of assuming that every quote includes the same process.

Frequently asked questions

What does a ten-minute edit cost?

Under Delsity’s published duration rule, ten minutes of finished video cost $420.

Do you multiply the rate for a long documentary film?

No. Finished films over ten minutes are quoted separately.

Is music automatically included in this price?

Music choice, available material and usage rights are agreed for the project. Do not assume that an editing fee grants rights to any track.
